CHILDREN THINK TANK

In Prague schools, we implemented the Schools for the Future project in 2020-2022, in which we collaborated with the Society for Creativity in Education and the Center for Environmental Issues of Charles University in Prague.

The main objective of the project was to support the development of sustainable development competences among students through creative education and the Creative Partnership program, which establishes partnership cooperation between teachers and students.

with experts from the fields of art and creative professions.

UUUL prepared a Think Tank project, which gave children the space and support to name key topics for the future, to explore them in more depth in contact with public figures, to put their heads together and, ideally, to propose real solutions. This created a "children's think tank" that sought solutions to today's issues. The project's output was a final conference at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art, which the children implemented with the support of the team.

The project used creative work methods and artistic practices in teaching based on the introduction of the principles of creative education and artistic practices, which lead to the activation of students and the strengthening of their critical thinking, creativity, initiative, problem-solving skills, etc.

The SCHOOLS FOR THE FUTURE project was co-financed by the European Union.
